Val Blavatnik
Executive Committee Member
Val Blavatnik is a member of Access Industries’ Executive Committee. In this role, he contributes to investment meetings and decisions, particularly in the technology ventures and global media sectors.
Val is currently Senior Director of Business Development at Warner Chappell, the global music publishing arm of Warner Music Group (WMG). From 2021-2023, he served on the investment team at LionTree, focused on the media and technology industries. Previously, he was a production executive at Eden Productions, a TV and film production company founded by Richard Plepler. From 2016 to 2019, Val worked in the music industry, primarily as an artist manager.
Val is a Board Director of the WMG/Blavatnik Family Foundation Social Justice Fund, which was founded in 2020 to support organizations working in historically underserved and marginalized communities. He joined the WMG Board of Directors in 2023.
Val received his BA from the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts.
