Jonah Sonnenborn
Senior Managing Director, Head of Real Estate
Jonah joined Access Industries in 2013 and serves as a Senior Managing Director and the Head of Real Estate. He is primarily responsible for the firm’s diversified portfolio of opportunistic real estate investments worldwide. Previously, Jonah was a Managing Director and member of the Investment Committee at Dune Real Estate Partners, an opportunistic real estate private equity firm headquartered in New York. Prior to joining Dune in 2005, Jonah worked in the Investment Banking divisions of Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs from 1999 to 2001.
Jonah received an MBA from Columbia Business School, where he was a member of the Dean’s List, and a JD from Columbia Law School, where he was selected to Law Review. He was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and graduated magna cum laude from Dartmouth College with a dual degree in English and Government.
Jonah serves on the board of several privately held companies, is a member of the Real Estate Roundtable, is Vice Chairman of ULI’s UDMUC Gold, and is a member of the American Hospitality Investment Roundtable.
