Access BridgeGap Ventures is an entrepreneur-run life sciences venture investment arm of Access Industries. Our mission is to bridge the early-stage investment gap in the therapeutics space. We leverage our experience in startup creation, technology commercialization, and venture investing to fund young startups and create de novo spinoffs around potential high-impact technologies, many of which are still in academic research labs.
Access BridgeGap, based in Boston, will primarily seek opportunities in human therapeutics: pharmaceuticals, biopharmaceuticals and therapeutic devices. Our funding activities focus on scientists, entrepreneurs and companies developing novel and clinically relevant approaches to disease treatment and prevention with products and platforms that have the potential to become must-have solutions for patients, physicians, and payers.
We have the resources and flexibility to span all investment stages and build fully independent companies either alone or with other investors. Access BridgeGap expects to fund 3-5 companies per year and to deploy $75M over the next few years.
